An Easy Way to Support Families in Maui

September 22, 2023

The Funeral Service Foundation is working with several partners to match up to $100,000 in donations to support families affected by devastating wildfires in Maui.

Donations will support funeral service needs, including grief support services and resources for families who were impacted.

In addition to the wildfires, funds will also be shared with families affected by Hurricane Idalia in Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

“The Foundation’s Board of Trustees, our donors and partners want to assure that assistance is available to those who are doing the difficult work of helping a devastated community,” said Foundation Chair Lisa Baue in a press release. “After tragedy strikes communities, the work of the funeral service professionals is truly awe-inspiring. The hope is that these funds can support their hard work.”
